Sweet Potato Casserole


 

  • 3 c. mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 stick soft butter
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 1 tsp. sherry flavoring (or Brandy flavoring)
  • 2 eggs

Topping:

  • 2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/3 stick butter

Combine potatoes, sugar, salt, butter, evaporated milk, flavoring, and eggs and blend.  Turn into greased baking dish.  Sprinkle with blended topping.  Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
